As dental professionals, we know dentist appointments aren’t a walk in the park for everyone. We believe making our patients feel safe is a vital part of quality dental care, so we want to give you a general idea of what will happen when you come to our office.
Once you arrive, a member of our team will check you in and walk you through the necessary paperwork you have to complete. Then, you’ll wait until a member of our staff asks you to go inside the treatment room.
The time your visit lasts greatly depends on the reason behind your visit. For instance, if you’re in for an oral examination, we’ll review your dental history and take x-rays to see the state of your mouth. Getting dental implants or other tooth replacements will take longer and might require you to take other precautions.
When we’re done with your oral examination, you’ll get a take-home kit with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss to continue taking care of your teeth at home.
